About me.

So why did I start a web page, and why would anyone care? Well, I  have been taking pictures on and off for 30 years, and I love to BS and tell stories. So its kind of a match made in heaven! I got my first real camera when I graduated from high school. That camera was a Minolta X-370 which I still own ti this day.  The tough part for me is writing (really tough).  Fortunately for me I have a great asset, my daughter.  She has been a huge help to me.  She is my editor, she is in charge of my social media.  When I cannot figure out my web site, she helps me figure it out.  I have to say it has been fun working with her on this project. 

My goal is to share some photos that people will enjoy and pass some knowledge to others. My favorite things to shoot, nature, cities and Disney.  Ha ha.. I know Disney?  The place is amazing and very photogenic.  I do, truly, love to travel.  It’s all another version of storytelling.  Whether I’m writing, taking pictures, or just BS’ing with people I met.  When I’m not traveling somewhere, I’m out hiking here in the Pacific Northwest. My love for hiking and nature is just part of who I am. I believe my love of nature originates from growing up in Montana and spending my childhood traipsing through the woods.  Through all my hobbies, I’m still working the 40 hour grind and get out as often as I can. 

I feel most happy when my home is in the rearview and my camera is in front. I don’t write is often as I would like or as well as I should but I do what I can. So remember always have your camera and keep shooting.
