If you couldn’t tell already, I’ve grown up in Montana. I grew up in a time where there wasn’t tv around or internet. So my days during summer vacation and the weekends were spent exploring the outdoors.

I used to get lost for hours, and I only had to be home for lunch and dinner. There’s a sense of freedom being outdoors that I cherished, of course, being a teenager that’s all they want. Nature is a beautiful place, and I believe that people forget about that. When I moved out to Washington when I was old enough to. The landscape in Washington is different but just as beautiful.

Being a travel photographer, I enjoy being out on a trail hiking or getting my feet wet out on the coast. Of course, I’m always trying to get that perfect shot and then put it on the internet for everyone to see. There’s never a limit to what you could see or what you could get a picture of at the moment.

I take my kids out to the coast, and now I bring my granddaughter outdoors, to all the same places I brought my children. Each child has a different view of what they’re experiencing, and I enjoy creating the memories and seeing the differences.

This gallery is going to be one of my three permanent galleries, and it will probably be one of the most continuously updated ones. The pacific northwest is never lacking for nature; a thirty-minute drive can take you away from the bustle of the city. Therefore, when I’m not on a vacation somewhere else, I would rather be outdoors and enjoying the elements.

With a variety of mountains, rivers, and the ocean I can hopefully encourage you to go outside and see what mysteries are out there for you. Don’t forget your camera!
